Perpetual Remembrance

The Lamp: Parabolic Dish: The crater of Impact
Wrought flames in sheet metal: The Sacrifice of Flight 93
Candle Light: The Gift of Flight 93 to us, The Light of
Freedom, Liberty, Courage, Commitment: our Gift to treasure and keep
alive
and brightly burning.
Counter Balance: The cyliners represent the trees of Penn's
Woods.
Stylized Wings: The Flight of 93 across Pennsylvania skies.
The heroism of the Heroes of Flight 93 occurred in the sky. Their
courage
and example will never end. The Flight of 93 will never end.
Star from which the Lamp is suspended: Eternal glory to
Heroes, the heavens, the abode of Heroes, the shared glory of all who live
according to the principles and values exhibited by the Heroes of Flight
93.
Some call it "heaven". This golden star is the
Fortieth star in the
sanctuary, accompanying 39 painted stars in the mural, each for the Heroes
of Flight 93.
