From Somerset:

  • Route 31 East 2.5 miles, LEFT onto Stutzmantown-Shanksville Road
    (This commences what is popularly called "Boulevard of Heroes")
    3 miles to FLIGHT 93 MEMORIAL CHAPEL
  • To continue journey to IMPACT SITE from FLIGHT 93 MEMORIAL CHAPEL
    Continue 3 more miles to Stop sign in Shanksville
    (Continuing Boulevard of Heroes)
  • U.S. POST OFFICE, Shanksville, Immediately on right before Stop sign.
  • LEFT one block, onto Lambertsville Road
    (Continuing Boulevard of Heroes)
  • 2.5 miles on Lambertsville Road to Lambertsville
    (Continuing Boulevard of Heroes)
  • To Right onto Skyline Drive
    up and over the rise to IMPACT SITE
From Johnstown and Route 219:
  • Exit Route 219 at Route 30 East.
  • Go East About 8 miles to Stoystown and Highland Tank

  • Make Right at Highland Tank onto Lambertsville Road
    (Commencing Boulevard of Heroes)
    About 2.5 miles (South) to Lambertsville.
  • Left onto Skyline Driver
    Up and over the rise to IMPACT SITE
  • To commence from IMPACT SITE to FLIGHT 93 MEMORIAL CHAPEL
  • Exit IMPACT SITE retracing route over rise to Lambertsville Road
  • Left at Stop sign onto Lambertsville Road
    (Boulevard of Heroes)
  • Going South, about 2.5 miles to Shanksville
  • Right turn in Shanksville keep moving/no Stop
  • One block to next Right onto Stutzmantown-Shanksville Road
    (U.S. POST OFFICE, Shanksville, immediately on left)
  • Advance 3 miles to FLIGHT 93 MEMORIAL CHAPEL on right
From Bedford:
  • Route 30 West to Stoystown Highland Tank on left
  • Make LEFT at Highland Tank onto Lambertsville Road
    (Commencing Boulevard of Heroes)
  • About 2.5 miles (South) to Lambertsville.
  • Left onto Skyline Driver
    Up and over the rise to IMPACT SITE
  • To commence from IMPACT SITE to FLIGHT  93 MEMORIAL CHAPEL
  • Exit IMPACT SITE retracing route over rise to Lambertsville Road
  • Left at Stop sign onto Lambertsville Road
    (Boulevard of Heroes)
  • Going South, about 2.5 miles to Shanksville
  • Right turn in Shanksville keep moving/no Stop
  • One block to next Right onto Stutzmantown-Shanksville Road
    (U.S. POST OFFICE, Shanksville, immediately on left)
  • Advance 3 miles to FLIGHT 93 MEMORIAL CHAPEL on right

Alternative From Bedford: Shortest route directly to the Chapel:

           Route 30 WEST, approximately 5 miles to LEFT on
           Route 31 West going approximately 3 miles to RIGHT
           Continuing Route 31 for approximately 22 miles to
           BROTHERTON intersection, and CHURCH OF THE BRETHREN (on Left)
           Turn RIGHT at intersection of Route 31 and Coleman Station Road
           Go approximately three miles to
           Intersection Coleman Station Road and Stutzmantown Road and
           MEMORIAL CHAPEL
